Update: Great Neck Accident Sends Two To Hospital

Injuries Not Life Threatening, Police Said

A two-car collision that sent two people to the hospital and a Mercedes off the road closed part of Great Neck Road today.

The accident happened in front of the exit of Waterford Country Gardens at approximately 11:15 a.m., according to Waterford Police. One car, a Mercedes, was pushed off the road, and both cars were towed away.

The injuries were not life-threatening, Police Lt. Brett Mahoney said. The road reopened at 12:15 p.m.
