Route 32 Closed By Van-Taxi Collision

Crash Sends 3 To The Hospital

Route 32, at the intersection with Scotch Cap Road, was briefly shut down in both directions at around 9:45 this morning after a taxi and a Fed Ex van collided.

Three people were taken to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital: the taxi driver and a taxi passenger, and the driver of the Fed Ex van. No other people were in either vehicle.

Route 32 was closed for about an hour as emergency responders cleared the scene. Route 32-Northbound was opened first, and Route 32-Southbound, where the accident happened, was opened later.
