Yesterday ( April 30th), I witness a Town of Wtfd worker in the front yard of the Quaker Hill Baptist Church and he was carrying a bloody ( appeared to be ) dead skunk on a shovel and headed to a Town pick up truck. It was stinking to the high heaven .. I wonder if that was a rabid skunk because I do not think that it is a usual thing for a skunk to be out roaming around in the daytime. Do you know of this ?

With all the reported cases rabies cases recently, what is the health district planning to do? Feeding wild animals in a common location and leaving pet food outside are certainly bad practices that could expose healthy critters to infected ones.
