Police Blotter: Weekend in Arrests

Dec. 8
John Mcavoy, 48, of 242 Nautilis Dr, New London, was charged at 3:05 p.m. with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane.
Dec. 9
Vincent Augmon, 49, of 20 Raymond St, New London, was charged at 7 p.m. with not having proper motor vehicle insurance, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to obey a control signal.
One person was charged on Dec. 8 with driving a motor vehicle when registration or license is refused/suspended/revoked.
Two people were charged on Dec. 9 with sixth-degree larceny: shoplifting.
