Police Blotter: Weekend Arrests

Arrests in Waterford, June 8-10

The following arrest information was supplied by the Waterford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

June 8

Myrna Pratts, 23, of 322 Bricktop Drive in Windham was arrested at 8:23 a.m. and charged with failure to appear in court (for the second time).

Laura Baptista, 28, of 106 Main St., Norwich, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree (shoplifting). She was released on a promise to appear.

David Goodyear, 42, of 31 Vivian St., Waterford, was arrested at 7:34 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct (fight or violent behavior). He was released on a promise to appear.

Antonio Miranda, 23, of 44 Reed St., New London, was stopped at 2:20 a.m. and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and with operating a motor vehicle when a license or registration is refused/suspended/or revoked. Bond was set at $500.

June 9

Anthony Devona, 22, of 112 Great Neck Road, Waterford, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol and evading (serious injury/physical injury/or property damage). Bond was set at $500.

June 10

William Oates, 29, of 38 Hickory Lane, Waterford, was arrested at 3:08 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, failure to have head lamps, and operating an unregistered vehicle and without a license. Bond was set at $500.

Laurie Mahon, 52, of 531 Hall Hill Rd., in Somers, was arrested at 4:26 p.m. and charged with failing to drive in the proper lane on a multilane highway and with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
