Police Blotter: State Police K9 Units Assist with Waterford Burglary (UPDATE)

Arrests for Oct. 16-18

Connecticut State Police K9 units were called in to assist Waterford Police Department with a burglary investigation at around 6 p.m. on October 18. According to police scanner reports, the residential burglary occurred on Douglas Lane in Waterford.

What all sounded very dramatic last night, particularly in light of the recent home invasion in Ledyard, turned out to be much less so in the cold light of day. Waterford Police Department says the incident involved a break in at the home's garage. Det. Joe Depasquale was unable to say what, exactly, was stolen but did say no vehicles were taken.

The burglar has not yet been apprehended, however. If you have any information about the incident, please call Waterford Police Department at (860) 442-9451.
