Police Blotter: More Drug Arrests in Waterford

August 5, 2013

Daniel Zolkowski, 34, of 12 Soljer Drive, Waterford, was charged with larceny in the 6th degree and possession of a shoplifting device.

Benjamin Dawson, 19, of 27 Kenyon Road, Waterford, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance (narcotics). 

William Castleberry, 22, of 27 Kenyon Road, Waterford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (narcotics). 

Dhimitri Gjino, 19, of 10 Hilltop Terrace, Waterford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance/<4 oz of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance (narcotics), possession of drug paraphernalia, and threatening. 

Anthony Michalik, 51, of 59 Fog Plain Road, Waterford, was charged with misuse of plates, theft of a motor vehicle license plate or insert, and failure to have minimum insurance coverage. 

Jacob Matzdorff, 18, of 48 Crystal Avenue, New London, was charged with operation of a motor vehicle when license or registration was refused/suspended/revoked, possession of a controlled substance/<4 oz of marijuana, use of drug paraphernalia, illegal purchase of liquor. 

August 6

Patrick Lee, 18, of 22 Devonshire Road, Waterford, was charged with delivery of alcohol to minors. 

Jose Valentin, 34, of 70 Dell Avenue, New London, was charged with criminal violation of a protective order. 

Thomas Decker, 47, of 14 Vosier Drive, Moosup, was charged with failure to have insurance that meets minimum requirements, illegal manufacturing/selling/possession of drugs, traveling too fast for conditions.

Ronald Hart, 30, of 9 Woodlawn Avenue, Waterford, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction. 

August 8, 2013

Thomas Szawerda, 50, of 159 Route 85, Colchester, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, and with driving when registration or license is refused/suspended/revoked. 

Dana Doss, 30, of 25 Ocean Avenue, East Lyme was charged with interfering with an officer (non-assaultive), possession of a controlled substance (narcotics), possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal mischief in the third degree, and larceny in the second degree (possession/sale/buying/or transfer of property illegally obtained).

Denise Lapanne, 34, of 461 Williams Street, New London, was charged with operation of a motor vehicle when license or registration is refused/suspended/revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jeremy Haynes, 43, of 131 Moxley Road, Uncasville, was charged with larceny in the 6th degree (shoplifting), unauthorized manufacture/sales of drugs by a non-drug dependent person, narcotics possession only in original container, possession of drug paraphernalia.
