Police Blotter: Domestic Disputes

The following arrest information was supplied by the Waterford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

July 1

Dawn Washington, 30, of 29 Cherry Hill Rd., Norwich, was charged with fifth degree larceny and first degree forgery, for which bond was set at $100,000. She was also charged with first degree forgery, attempt to commit a crime, and sixth degree larceny (false pretense or promise), for which bond was set at $5,000. Washington was also charged with violation of probation, for which bond was set at $50,000. She was held in lieu of bond.

Tadeusz Vasiliou, 38, whose address was listed as both 34 Joy St., Uncasville, and 19 Greystone Drive, Uncasville, was charged with disorderly conduct and with criminal violation of a protective order. He was released on a promise to appear.

Heather Vasiliou, 39, of 8 Williams St., Waterford, was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear.

Robert Alfiero, 50, of 24 North Rd., Waterford, was charged at 9:45 p.m., with breach of peace and third degree assault (minor injury or intent to cause injury). He was released on a promise to appear.

July 2

Brandon Sorensen, 25, of 262 Brown St., Providence, R.I., was charged at 3:10 p.m. with larceny in the sixth degree (theft from a building). He was also charged with breach of peace and criminal trespass in the second degree. He was released on a promise to appear.

Michael Barnett, 50, of 2 Richards Grove Rd. in Quaker Hill, was charged at 3:30 a.m. with disorderly conduct and third degree assault (minor injury or intent to cause injury). He was released on a promise to appear.

Mary Bendanna, 40, of 2 Richards Grove Rd., Quaker Hill, was charged with third degree assault and released on a promise to appear.

Jon Day, 24, of 231 Broad St., Norwich, was charged at 3:48 p.m. with failure to drive at a reasonable distance, driving without minimum required insurance coverage, and driving an unregistered vehicle. He was released on a promise to appear.

Robin Miller, 47, of 107 Wawacus Hill Rd., Norwich, was charged at 11:36 p.m. with driving a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/alcohol. Bond was set at $500.
