NL Man Arrested for String of Waterford Burglaries

Scott Tyrone, 32, was arrested today for allegedly burglarizing several Waterford homes in September.

Today, Waterford Police arrested Scott Tyrone, 32, of 615 Bank Street, New London after he allegedly went on a month-long spree of residential burglaries in Waterford in September.

Tyrone was arrested on seven counts of third-degree burglary, four counts of third-degree larceny, two counts of sixth-degree larceny, one count of fourth-degree larceny, two counts of third-degree criminal mischief and one count of second-degree criminal mischief. Tyrone is presently incarcerated in the Corrigan Correctional Center for his alleged role in seven other burglaries, according to the Waterford Police Department.

Tyrone was arrested after a joint investigation by the Waterford Police Department and the New London Police Department, according to Waterford Police. A search warrant was executed at Tyrone’s residence, where numerous items stolen throughout New London County were recovered, according to Waterford Police.
