Update as of 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 9:

Residents of a Josan Drive house that became engulfed in flames Sunday escaped uninjured, according to an article on The Day's website.

Their dog also got out, but a cat is still missing, the Day reports.

Our original report follows:

Reports are coming in that firefighters are battling a fire on Josan Drive in Waterford.

According to information on the scanner, firefighters have evacuated the structure and are preparing to engage in a defensive attack.

The address of the house was not immediately available, nor whether there are any injuries. Josan Drive is a cul-de-sac off of Oswegatchie Road.

Patch will update this article as more information becomes available.
