Willets Ave in Waterford was closed temporarily today after a man on a bicycle ran into a truck and was rushed to the hospital.
A man on a bike drove into the side of a truck, breaking the truck’s side window, according to Waterford Police Lt. Jeff Nixon. Initial reports say the man suffered a head injury but the injuries were not life threatening.
Waterford Police were processing the scene as of 4:45 p.m. Nixon said he hopes to process the scene quickly to get Willets Ave open again. The broken bike and shattered glass were still across the road.
