thought's on new creamry

yesterday after grocery shopping i thought about what a great day it was outside and stopping on my way home for an ice cream cone. i pass by the new creamry on boston post road almost every day and thought let me support this new business. when i pulled into the parking lot i got out of my car and looked to the back and automactially said to myself what an awesome job clearing the land, also i thought how great to have picnic tables out there in the summer, while eating ice cream the kids have a safe place to run around and play while the parents and friends sit and relax. ok, time for my ice cream, when i came in a very friendly lady greeted me at the door and showed me where everything was, self serve, very clean and numerous different toppings, i wanted an ice cream cone. she told me they have waffle cones, and cups i can fill with my choice of ice cream. she told me when i decide which flavor of ice cream i wanted also if i wanted to add any toppings, when i am finished bring my cup to the counter so she can weigh it and i will pay her? i filled my cup about 3/4's no toppings after the weigh in i was charged $3.49, in my head i was thinking "wow" glad i did not fill up on toppings. here is my personal opinion, i remember ice cream places as i grew up and you went in and saw containers of different flavors, someone behind the counter asking what flavor would you like and they scoop it into your cone, the price was always set, one scoop, or two, maybe three, prices per scoop. there was always a menu on the wall of flavors & prices per scoop. the ladies were great, i think you have an awesome opportunity to sell alot of cones, cups, etc. i am just making a suggestion that i feel would fill up your parking lot. going into an ice cream place and seeing alot of different flavors and watching someone make your cone and already knowing the price to me is a good thing. having your cup weighed your not sure how much money to pull out, what i paid for a cup 3/4 full i automactially thought, wow, alittle expensive, what if a family with kids came in and a $20.00 was not enough? it shows how much work you ladies did there and the place looks awesome, maybe you might think about my suggestion on the old way coming in and seeing all the flavors, your cone is made for you, most importantly the price is up on the wall with your flavors, and maybe the flavor of the week, i really want to see your business explode with customers, thank you, i did enjoy the vanilla ice cream, just one other thing, your business to me is the type of business where families come for cones, dips, cups, etc. weighing ice cream and not knowing ahead of time the price to me is not a good idea, especially when a family of 4 or 6 come in and after weighing in all the cups the price is too high, i will be back along with my family and friends when i hear the prices are set and the ice cream flavors are there to see.
