Perhaps we can ask the Koch brothers to fund a war in Yemen. Sort of like a fine for doing business with a sworn enemy of the US. Koch Brothers Flout Law Getting Richer With Secret Iran Sales In May 2008, a unit of Koch Industries Inc., one of the world’s largest privately held companies, sent Ludmila Egorova-Farines, its newly hired compliance officer and ethics manager, to investigate the management of a subsidiary in Arles in southern France. In less than a week, she discovered that the company had paid bribes to win contracts. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-10-02/koch-brothers-flout-law-getting-richer-with-secret-iran-sales.html

Steve, as an investigator for the military any thoughts on the $6.6 Billion dollars that went missing in Iraq? Report: $6B missing in Iraq may have been stolen. Special inspector general for Iraq reconstruction Stuart Bowen told the Times the missing money may represent "the largest theft of funds in national history." Bowen has been a harsh critic of the way the U.S. government spent money in Iraq following the ouster of Saddam. The money in question was literally air-lifted into Iraq by the George W. Bush administration, which flew it into Baghdad aboard C-130 military cargo planes. Bush White House officials were worried in the immediate aftermath of Saddam's fall that Iraqis would revolt if salaries weren't paid and services deteriorated. In total, the Times says $12 billion in cash was flown into Iraq in 21 separate C-130 flights by May 2004. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503543_162-20070981-503543.html

"my vote, and i am a conservative, was for Gabby Gifford pledge to the flag. that was the high light of the convention, everything else was just socialist rhetoric with no substance of the real issues. FLUFF AND BULL SHOW" Steve, what did you think about Romney NOT giving tribute to, or even mentioning, our serviceman/women during his speech at the RNC? During a time of war no less? "If the Republicans thought of the military Romney would have mentioned and honored our servicemen/women during his speech"? Yes?

How's your 401k or Ira account holding up these days? What, $100 million in an IRA account? “Romney has a gigantic IRA, which may hold as much as $100 million in assets. We do not know what it contains. We can only speculate. Given the applicable contribution limits, it is hard to see how the IRA got so big, even if Bain deals were hugely profitable. Regardless of what is in the IRA, serious valuation and self-dealing questions are raised…” IRAs. Issue: Can profits interests or special classes of shares in private equity target companies be contributed to IRAs? http://www.accuracy.org/release/romney-%e2%80%9ctax-issues-cheat-sheet%e2%80%9d-released/
