The story about Mitt Romney hauling his Irish setter in a kennel strapped on the roof of his car has grown to near legendary proportions since the Boston Globe first reported it in 2007.
As the Romney presidential campaign heats up after his win in the New Hampshire primary, the repercussions continue to spread. Websites are cropping up, as are Facebook pages. To "Romney" has become a verb.
(Remember when LBJ picked up his beagle by the ears?)
What do you think? Does an incident involving a family pet that happened nearly 30 years ago matter? Take our poll and add your thoughts in the comments.
The gentleman in the wheelchair probably didn't matter much either because he would be dead before the election and didn't have any money. link below http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=x9cn0M_AFWg
Irrelevant to 2012. This kind of journalistic question is common from extremist media pundits. I expect to see this on MSNBC. During the Republican debate yeasterday, Ed Schultz, Lawrence O'Donnell, Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews usually report on this type of story. I think that the kind of question that is posed in this poll is indicative of the qualitity of the responses so far. This will attract the conservative bashers and people who post negative comments on the internet. I guess that today must be the end of "Be Nice on the Internet Week"...lol
"Remember the Chappaquiddick"
I once thught Newt was a trustworthy character but not anymore. Now I think Mitt deserves my petite contribution.
