Berklee World Strings

The Berklee World Strings is coming to Waterford this month! The orchestra is from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. On April 26, at 7:30 PM, they will be at Waterford High School to provide a free concert for anyone interested.

Before the concert, the orchestra will also provide a free workshop from 3:00-5:00 PM for any string players. Both the workshop and the concert are open for the public. At the workshop, the orchestra will provide a lesson for improvising on the strings and will teach a few folk tunes by ear.

The Berklee World Strings features players from all over the world, and they play improvised music from a variety of world cultures.
