The Summer Concert Series finally got started. Last night Steve Elci and Company performed at Waterford Beach Park. Their children's concert was a huge success. Well over 300 people attended this free concert and all the children seemed to be enjoying themselves, even the big kids (mom, dad, gramma and grandpa). Last week was a rain out of the Community Band and unfortunately we do not have a date available to re-schedule them, they do however have a concert on Monday August 15 at the Community Center.
Next week will be Jay Dempsey and Highway Call performing from 6pm to 8pm. Local artists are in this band as well as Kim Apicilli at the microphone. Bring your dinner, beach chair, blanket and the kids. Great time is had by all at this free concert. All concerts are at Waterford Beach. Please remember no alcoholic beverages are allowed on town property and dogs/pets are not allowed at the park during the beach season.
