Here's what's open on Thanksgiving, in case you run out of essentials or want to go shopping.

What's open?

For many retailers, Thanksgiving is no longer a holiday but is instead one of the busiest day of the year. The Crystal Mall is open for extended hours starting at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Retailers such as Walmart and Stop & Shop are also open. Convenience stores, such as Henny Penny, are open as usual, so if you need to dash out for last minute supplies, you've got options.

  • State and local government offices and courts will be closed Thursday and Friday.
