What's Closed In Waterford On Martin Luther King Jr. Day?

This is a federal and state holiday but most stores will be open.

Monday Jan. 20 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Most stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, and liquor stores are open. Waterford Public Library is open. The following are closed:

  • Municipal offices
  • All public schools
  • The Department of Motor Vehicles
  • State and federal courts
  • State offices
  • The post office
  • Banks (most but not all)
  • The Stock Market
