Need A Christmas Tree? Waterford Is Giving Them Away

Wal Mart manager Alan Centazzo and Waterford First Selectman Dan Steward arranged to provide trees to Waterford families that can't afford one. They are available at Waterford Police Department today.

A Press Release from Waterford Police Department

Waterford Wal Mart has donated some Christmas trees to the Town of Waterford for families that cannot afford them. If you or someone you know cannot afford a tree this year, there will be about twenty trees outside at the Waterford Police Department, please feel free to take one.

The trees will be available around 2 p.m., after Senior services and the Community center is checked with for community tree needs. These trees are specifically for people who cannot afford them, not for "bargain hunters".

This generous donation was arranged by Wal Mart manager Alan Centazzo and Waterford First Selectman Dan Steward.
