Every day, Connecticut State Troopers encounter children in need. Many of these children would not wake up Christmas morning with a smile if it were not for the generosity of the people of Connecticut.
Due to this need, each State Police Troop is dedicated to the success of “STUFF A CRUISER HOLDAY TOY DRIVE” which is a statewide effort between Connecticut State Police Department and the citizens of the State of Connecticut to “team up” to assist families in need during this holiday season.
On Saturday, December 7, 2013 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. off-duty Connecticut State Troopers will personally be on hand to collect toys at sites (listed below) across the state. All new (unwrapped) toys will be distributed to local social services agencies located in the same area where the toys are collected.
Connecticut State Troopers will be collecting toys at the following locations:
- Troop E in Montville will be collecting toys for Norwich DCF
- Troop F in Westbrook will be collecting toys for Haddam/Durham Youth and Family Services.
- Troop K in Colchester will be collecting toys for Troop K Area Social Service Agencies
