The Charity Bookshop will hold its Holiday Sale from December 1 through December 29. All books marked with either yellow or white dot labels will be on sale at half-price for the entire month of December.

The Charity Bookshop is open three days a week on Monday and Wednesday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and on Thursday from 2 PM until 6 PM. We are open throughout the year except on holidays. Please visit http://stonington.patch.com/blog_posts/books-at-unbeatable-prices to learn more and to see photos.

Our bookshop sells new and gently used books, audio books, CD’s and DVD’s at unbeatable prices, ranging from $0.25 to $2.00. In the past week, we have received several boxes of hardcover books from a private collection. Last weekend we received a generous donation of classical CD’s, many from the Musical Heritage Society, and some of which have never been opened - perfect for gift giving! We are very proud of our extensive collection of children’s books. Books and music arrive all the time and sell just as quickly, so we recommend that customers visit us often.

The Charity Bookshop is a non-profit bookstore that benefits The Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT (CFA). The shop is manned by volunteers, who are members of the Groton Auxiliary of the Child and Family Agency. All bookshop proceeds benefit the social and health programs of the Child and Family Agency. CFA services reach 17,000 southeastern CT children and their families. For more information about CFA, please visit http://www.childandfamilyagency.org/.
