UPDATED: Two Dogs Die, House Destroyed By Fire

Family living there has no renter's insurance.

Today, an afternoon house fire at 520 Boston Post Road killed two dogs and left a family in tears.

Two people and four dogs were inside the house when it caught fire just past 4 this afternoon. Both people and two of the dogs escaped the fire uninjured, but two other dogs hid under the master bed and died from smoke inhalation.

Jen Adams, her husband, her children and her grandchild rent the home. They do not have renter's insurance.

Patch will have the full story Saturday morning.
