The snow is expected to begin soon, and then turn to rain and snow in the afternoon, and then turn back into snow this evening, according to the service. The snow is expected to continue until Friday, according to the service.

Today: Snow before 2 p.m., then rain, snow and sleet. High near 37. Windy, with a north wind 25 to 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tonight: Snow. Low around 32. Breezy, with a north wind 22 to 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Friday: Snow before noon, then rain and snow likely. High near 37. Breezy, with a north wind 23 to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Friday Night: Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 29. Blustery, with a north wind 14 to 20 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 43. North wind 10 to 13 mph.
