Flood Warning In Effect For Today; And More

Five Things To Know For Friday, Feb. 25, 2011

  1. A flood warning is in effect today. There will be heavy rain all day and thunderstorms after 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Winds could reach up to 49 mph, with one to two inches of rain expected, according to the service.
  2. At Waterford High, tickets for a parents’ night out at Filomena’s Restaurant are on sale for $20. All proceeds benefit the class of 2011’s drug- and alcohol-free graduation party.
