Pisacich videotapes many of the town meetings, including the planning and zoning commission meeting Monday night. Wagner, along with some of the commissioners, was not talking into the microphone, making it difficult for Pisacich to get the discussion on video as well as making it difficult for anybody in the public (about 20 people) to hear. Pisacich twice asked Wagner to speak into the microphone, with Wagner responding by saying Pisacich was “out of order.” Wagner later said he would have rules for Pisacich in upcoming meetings, while Pisacich countered, “It's open government.”

After the meeting, several members of the public sided with Pisacich, including board of education member Kathleen McCarty, saying it was very difficult to hear the commissioners and that they should talk into the microphone.

Also, the group will vote on a $15,460 appropriation to replace the boiler at Goshen Fire Department (another example of a capital project).

And on this date in 2003, Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko marries his wife while in outer space. His wife was in Texas, so they did the ceremony via video.
