Saving money IS exciting!

Everyday tips and updates on how to save money. Now is the time to buy!

Saving MONEY is exciting!!!

I know, I know the last thing that anyone really wants to think about, let
alone talk about, is their finances!!! My goal as a professional, colleague
and friend is to help as many members of our community receive the best
financial advice and help them navigate this crazy world we live in.

Making educated and informed decisions are the best decisions. Making NO
decisions regarding your finances is procrastination, which in this low rate
environment will cost you money, time and sleep. The media overwhelms us
constantly with the state of our economic “Cliff”.

So it the beginning of a NEW Year 2013….what are your “to do’s”…..well here
are just a few of what should be on your lists…..

* Refinance Mortgage: If you
purchased or refinanced your home even just a year ago… there is still room for
rate and savings improvement. Rates are crazy low!!! Saving a mere $100, $200,
$300 per month...will over the term save you in the double, triple digits
savings...But more importantly, why would you let the banks charge you more
than what is presently available?

* Home Ownership: Between the
aggressive programs (mainly government), low rates and low home values…buying now is not only the most affordable time but buying in a market when values are at their all-time lows...I have gotten first time buyers into homes with truly little money reimbursed at closing. When all is complete no money into the
deal.

*Insurance:
Do you presently have the best policy, rate and coverage?? Each year you should
review all policies and have your broker shop around…

*Life Insurance: Do you have sufficient coverage?  You should
have coverage that equals the balance of your debts load.  In the event that you or your spouse dies in the middle of life while your children are young….is there sufficient coverage to provide their current lifestyle.

*Cable/Electric/Cell phones:  Do you have the best, most competitive plans that fit your needs. Are you paying for services you will never use?

Auto Loans & Credit Cards:  Rates have dropped in this area as well.. Do you have the best rate possible? You can always refinance your current balance to ensure you have the most completive rate.

These are just of few areas that you as a consumer have control over….If you are at this point in the reading…then you made the first step in becoming educated and aware.  Please do not stop here….. If I
can guide you in anyway, please reach out to me.  Happy 2013 !!!  Let’s make this the most proactive year ever!!
