Motherhood: Motherhood, a maternity clothing store, has opened in the Waterford Commons, in the same building as . The store is in half of the space Kirkland’s Home Furnishing used to occupy. That space has since been divided, and the other side remains vacant.
: Sleepy’s at 918 Hartford Turnpike is still undergoing renovations to the inside and exterior of the building, although is open for business.

: Fastenal at 86 Boston Post Road, which is behind , has opened for business. Fastenal is an industrial parts supplier, and has relocated from 82 Boston Post Road.
: Grader Jewelers is relocating to 217 Boston Post Road, an office previously occupied by a dentist. Grader is renovating the building, , according to a press release by owner Mark Grader.

: The credit union has proposed building a 58,000-square-foot corporate office and retail banking facility at 1055 Hartford Turnpike. Charter Oak is proposing to install a sewer line to the property as well.
The proposal to extend the sewer line is being reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Lawrence & Memorial Hospital Cancer Center: at 475 Boston Post Road, which will have frontage to Parkway South. The project is still being reviewed by town agencies.
