Sale between Minnesota and New York companies means $117,500 to the state and $23,500 to the town.

Just before the start of 2013, the strip mall that holds Jared’s Jewelers and Eastern Mountain Sports in Waterford was sold for $9.4 from a Minnesota company to a New York Company.

On Dec. 26, a sale was finalized between Chesapeake Corporate Realty LLC of Minnesota to Charter Oak Commons of New York LLC for 145 Dayton Place for $9.4 million. The property, 145 Dayton Place, is a strip mall located across the street from the Crystal Mall that holds Eastern Mountain Sports and Jared’s Jewelers.

Miracle Ear, a store that specializes in hearing aids, is moving into the strip mall soon. According to the sale agreement, Charter Oak Commons will take over all leases existing at the property.
