Waterford rocker Steve Elci, who has changed his focus , is looking to score a Grammy award, The Day reported.
"To me, the Grammys is the ultimate achievement of recognition in the music world," Elci said in the article. "And if I can get recognized by the Grammy Academy in children's music, perhaps I can use that momentum and status to travel the world bringing positive messages through song to children and families."
Elci's upcoming May album "Crayons in a Box" will be produced by Blue Pie Records, meaning that he will now be qualified for a Grammy nomination.
