Sensory Celebration and Kick Off Party for Walk Now for Autism Speaks

We are pleased to announce that Sensations Charitable Foundation, Autism Speaks, and Florence Griswold Museum have partnered to offer families a quiet, yet active, day together that is low to no cost.  Our INAUGURAL SENSORY CELEBRATION is just that, a free day to pack a picnic lunch while engaging in Art, Play, Drumming, Yoga, Music, and Storytelling.  Thank you to our committed sponsors: Lawrence and Memorial Hospital and Wireless Zone

Parents and their children can engage in effective activities that support high incidence disabilities including, but not limited to, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, and many more that challenge a family’s ability to engage in typical spring time activities.  We consider this a universally designed day to encourage everyone to come together and just “Be” together.
