Three events scheduled tonight as part of have been cancelled because of the weather, according to Recreation and Parks Program Coordinator Kerry Sullivan.
There was supposed to be a classic car show at Town Hall at 5, a kids’ concert by Steve Elci at Civic Triangle Park at 5:30 and the annual firemen versus police officer softball game at 7. However, all three events have been cancelled because of the rain, according to Sullivan.
Pup-stravaganza, the Waterford Week Parade and the Waterford Week Family Evening are all scheduled for Saturday, but those could be cancelled as well. The National Weather Service is predicting showers and thunderstorms all day Saturday.
