Holiday Art Exhibit, The Ninigret Art Guild is holding a "Holiday Art Exhibit" in the Community Room of the Groton Public Library, 52 Newtown Rd, Groton. The exhibit is open daily in December during normal business hours. The exhibit contains paintings in a variety of mediums and subjects. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will go to support the Friends of the Groton Library. For more information, call 860-441-6750.

Child & Family Agency Holiday Cookie Walk, Saturday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Child & Family Agency Cookie Walk offers a delectable array of beautiful, homemade holiday cookies for purchase. Visitors browse the display and choose which cookies they want to buy; volunteers then weigh the cookies and package them for purchase. Also available for sale will be sets of note cards depicting local scenes of Lyme and Old Lyme, and the Agency’s popular holiday ornaments.

Christmas Bazaar, Christ Church, 7 Elm St., Westerly, Saturday, Dec. 3rd, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fine crafts, fresh decorated wreaths, poinsettias, knitted items, books, jewelry, holiday baked good, theme gift baskets, attic treasures and tag sale. Luncheon featuring homemade soups, salads, and desserts for $10 served from 11am to 1pm. Back by popular demand is a “Children’s Room” for making holiday crafts as gifts for loved ones. For those shopping between 9am and 10am, they will receive a free door prize ticket for a Collectors Longaberge Basket filled Christmas Goodies. Drawing will be at 10am.

Are you having an event and want to get it onto Patch? It is super easy! First, make sure you are a registered user on your local Patch (the sign up button is in the top right corner of the home page).

You can post your upcoming event immediately – it will be added to the calendar right away so folks have a good heads up that something is coming up. The more notice the better! If you have photos or video, feel free to add.

If your event is of regional interest, after you upload it please send the editor the link and they will add it to our other sites so you don’t have to keep cutting and pasting.
