Benefit Scheduled for Ari Cullers March 30th

The benefit for the fallen Waterford soldier will be held at the Montville VFW on March 30th, with all proceeds going to the Wounded Warriors project.

A benefit will be held on Saturday, March 30th in the Montville VFW to benefit Ari Cullers, a Waterford-born soldier who died in Afghanistan in 2011.

The benefit, entitled the Ari R Birthday Memorial Fundraiser, is in its second year. The event begins at 5 p.m. in the Montville VFW, which is located at 91 Raymond Hill Road in Montville. Tickets are $20 per person, and there will be food, a bar, a live band, raffles and dancing.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, which is a nonprofit organization that helps severely injured service members transition to civilian life.
