A Gift From a Fallen Sister

Recently, a deer came into Tina Peck's backyard in Waterford and ate apples out of her hand. She calls it a gift from her late sister Tracey.

In May of 2011, Tina Peck’s sister Tracey Kleinpell died when she was hit by a car while riding her bike in Florida.

Peck hasn’t stopped missing her sister since. She has pictures of Kleinpell all throughout her Waterford home and her son even sends notes to Kleinpell via helium balloon.

Recently, Peck got a sign Kleinpell is missing her as well. This week, a deer came up to Peck in her backyard and ate apples out of her hand. Peck has always loved deer, and Kleinpell knew that.
