Key Club is an international student-led organization that serves
the local and national community through volunteer work. On Saturday, October
5, 2013, members of the Waterford High School Key Club will be joining hundreds
of walkers in the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation Walk Across
Southeastern Connecticut to raise funds for breast cancer research. In previous
years, we have volunteered as a spirit team at the annual walk, and this year
we plan on walking the quarter marathon. By joining hundreds of other walkers,
we hope to make a difference in the lives of women everywhere.
In order to participate in this event, we must raise over $800 by December 31, 2013, and we need your support to help us reach our goal. If you would like to sponsor us, you can donate online at www.tbbcf.org. Click on "Sponsor a Walker" at the top of the page and search for "Marisa Boch." If you would like to send your donation in the mail, fill out and send in the "Sponsor a Walker" form located on the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation home page. Remember, 100% of the funds will go directly to breast cancer research, and your gift is tax-deductible.
In the last seven years, the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation has raised over $2.4 million in support of such an honorable cause, and the Waterford High School Key Club hopes to join the fight against breast cancer!
Thank you in advance for your support!
