On Jan. 14, Dante A. Pezzolesi was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout at a brunch held in his honor at Groton Inn & Suites.
Waterford Troop 36 Leaders, Boy Scouts of America Officials and First Selectman Dan Steward were in attendance to acknowledge this outstanding achievement. Ceremony blessing was officiated by Rev. Claudine Crooks of Groton's Poquonnock Bridge Baptist Church.
Dante is a 2011 Waterford High School graduate, a member of both the Jordan Firehouse and East Lyme Police Youth Cadet Program. Dante is currently enrolled in Three Rivers Community College pursuing a degree in Small Business and Entrepreneurial Studies.
