Who Will Be Waterford's Citizen, Employee, and Family of the Year? Find Out Tonight!

Five things to help you plan your day, Wednesday, August 14, in Waterford


1. Clouds this morning will gradually clear as the day goes on. There's just a 20 percent chance of rain today, according to Weather.com, which is predicting a high temperature of 74 degrees and an overnight low of 55 degrees.

2. Who will be Waterford's Citizen of the Year? Employee of the Year? Family of the Year? We'll find out tonight when the town makes the announcement and presentation at the Waterford Week Variety Show at Clark Lane Middle School. The awards will most likely be handed out at the start of the show at 7 p.m. Stick around for the show though, because Waterford has talent!

3. The Board of Finance meets tonight, also at 7 p.m., at Waterford Town Hall. 

4. With the forecast promising a clear night, it should be a perfect evening to catch another concert at Waterford Park Beach, where Vince Thompson will be playing folk and bluegrass.
