Waterford 15s Take First Game In CT Tourney

Team rolls to 10-1 win

Saturday, the Waterford 15-year-old all-star team defeated West Haven 10-1 in their first game of the Connecticut 15-year-old Babe Ruth tournament in Simsbury.

Connor Lewis pitched six innings and gave up four hits, walked one and allowed just one unearned run. Griffin Archambault, Sam Strout and Tom Pezzolesi each drove in two runs for Waterford.

Waterford next plays host Simsbury on Monday at 5:30. Simsbury defeated Stamford 6-3 on Saturday.
